AM3715 & AM3703, two new Cortex-A8 Sitara™ microprocessors that deliver up to 1GHz ARM performance while providing low power operation. These MPUs are suitable for a wide variety of applications, such as portable data terminals, portable medical equipment, home and building automation, navigation systems, smart displays and human machine interaction (HMI) industrial interfaces and other applications which demand require high-performance, low-power processing capabilities. Offering a nearly 40 percent increase in ARM performance, double the 3D graphics performance, and lowering power by up to 30 percent when compared to previous generations. A complete suite of software, demos and development tools complement the scalability of the AM37x hardware and software to further reduce customers’ time to market.
