For AM3517/3505 MMC2 port the ROM code assumes that an MMC/SD tranceiver is used on this port. That is it configures the port to use mmc2_clkin to latch incoming data(a transceiver typically loops the output clock back to the controller input). Therefore, if you intend to boot from a card on SD/MMC2 port, you must use an external transceiver device between the controller and card
