CMEM History and Roadmap[edit]

This article is intended to help provide some guidance for Linux Utils users to help them understand previous and future releases of Linux Utils, as well as indicate where/when significant features are introduced and what compatibility breaks occur.

Download Linux Utils here

The latest Linux Utils API Reference Guide is available online as well as in each product (see links in the Release Notes).

Note that in 2008, the CMEM productization changed to include similar Linux utilities, in addition to CMEM. CMEM is now delivered as a component of the Linux Utils product. To minimize confusion, the Linux Utils product versioning built on the existing CMEM versioning.

There are some gaps, which will be filled in later. (But don't be shy about editing this. If you can fill in details, things to watch out for in a given release(!), etc, please do!)
