Linux Utils Overview
This page presents an overview of the Linux Utils product. This product is also included in several of the DVSDK releases.
Overview[edit]
The Linux Utils product began as just CMEM - a utility library for allocating physically contiguous memory. As more utilities were created, they were bundled with CMEM, and the product was renamed "Linux Utils".
Rather than begin versioning the product as "1.00", the initial release was "2.20" to align with pre-existing CMEM release versions.
Streaming archive presentation[edit]
You can find a complete audio + video walkthru of the Linux Utils 2.20 product, with an eye towards the OMAP3 DVSDK usage, in this recorded streaming archive - the Webex player is inbuilt in the stream.
