- the wiki server software version seems to currently have some problems with the original gif images. it works much better with png format. so a local conversion step shall probably be performed before uploading. --Alexander.stohr 03:40, 22 November 2013 (CST)
- it further turns out that the png variant will appear less blurry, at least for me. probably thats due to some image scaling issues. --Alexander.stohr 04:01, 22 November 2013 (CST)
