Company Overview


Embit was born in 2004 as a design center for RF and embedded solutions. The know-how developed in the years ranges over a wide selection of RF protocols with special enphasis on 802.15.4, ZigBee and Wireless MBus. The main aim of the company is to be and to provide solutions as flexible as possible offering open platform designs and fully customizable OEM solutions. The main fields on which Embit operates are home automation, smart metering, industrial communication, environmental monitoring, renewable energy and energy harvesting.

Embit designs and produces high performance and cost-effective OEM radio modules exploiting the potentials of short range wireless technologies such as IEEE 802.15.4, ZigBee, 6LoWPAN and Wireless M-Bus. The company focuses on the development of spread intelligence systems, to make interaction easier and to simplify the management of wireless sensor networks. Embit assists its customers through the development of ad-hoc wireless solutions and embedded systems, starting from the feasibility analysis, design & development of new applications, to the production of pre-competitive prototypes. Services include Radio Frequency Design, Antenna Design, Hardware Design (Analog & Digital), Software development, Embedded ad-hoc Firmware, Prototyping, System testing and production support.
