Under CCS4, I had recurring reliability issues trying to use the Spectrum Digital XDS510USB on a VMware Workstation Version 6.5.5 build-328052 client. The client OS was WinXP and the host OS was WinMCE. When I moved CCS4 to the WinMCE host, these reliability issues went away.
So, I suggest that even Workstation 6.x may not give reliable results for the Spectrum Digital XDS510USB.
