As a "TI Embedded Processors Wiki" this really ought to addresss the Stellaris chips too (LM3S, Cortex-M3). Any mention of TMS470 would seem to be only for legacy systems...

Problems encountered using this app: 1) No way to print the 86 pages of CCSv4 info except one at a time manually. 2) My.TiAccount Username not valid, had to create a different one. Username rules not stated such as no "." nor "@" (ie can not use email name). 3) With no .PDF user manuals to print (Getting Started, definitions of parameters for each window, etc) and mark up for each project this is a giant step backwards! Very disappointed in TI. Kaisen event needed!

Regarding Prior comments:

- Db

We are in the process of adding the Stellaris Chips to the main page. There is already Stellaris content in the wiki.

-Israel Davinci

Anyone can add a category by simply writing an article and putting the following text
 [[Category:Boot]]
in the content of the article.

- Slcomee

a) We are currently looking at adding an extension that would allow a user to create an eBook and include any wiki pages of interest to be bundled into a single .pdf. TIers would use this to e.g. generate Getting Started Guides etc.

b) True, the Mediawiki account is not tied into your my.ti.com account. The username rules are set by Mediawiki infrastructure, not by TI.

Any update on adding a link to Content:Stellaris from the main page? Users aren't easily finding the Stellaris M3 pages.

Training, purpose of this wiki

a) i think this aspect not yet reflected on the start page. probably this is the best target for linking:

b) the first paragraph in the developers section is a good candidate for beeing lifted to the very top section because it tells the reader what this wiki is meant for. --Alexander.stohr 11:43, 20 May 2010 (UTC)

Curious why the C674x link points to an Introductory Info page rather than the category as all the other product family links do? Would like this changed so as to be uniform.

i wish this site included the cc2530 MCU. all of the TI CC family of SoC radios are missing.

What happened to OMAP35xx?

Going to try to address a number of questions here.

Stellaris content is now linked from the main page.

The developers on this wiki are here to add content, and are not directly affiliated with any Inventory and Delivery. While we are happy to hear your comments, you might be better off voicing them through the sales channel.

OMAP35x is under the Integra Section

I recommend to add link to Linux and TI DaVinci Technology Portal: http://www.Linux-DaVinci.info/

Could you change the bullet for DSP/BIOS and SYS/BIOS to the following:

    • SYS/BIOS (previously called DSP/BIOS) real-time operating system, associated tools, and software.

this page really needs a single page table that oultines the features of each processor family wihtout having to dive into each family individually. Ie: which processors are USB 2.0 High speed capable etc.

I'm the TIS writer for the code gen user's guides. Can someone update the references to the TMS470 Assembly Language Tools and TMS470 Optimizing C/C++ Compiler docs to ARM vs TMS470? The doc names changed in 2009 when TMS570 began.

Can we update the above EP diagram; specifically the DSP & DSP+ARM section.

Can we replace the C6-Integra DSP+ARM with simply "DSP+ARM9"? And, can we remove completey the DaVinci block. This should now be under the 32-bit ARM MPU Performance block.

Thank you.

Aureus

Its currently not established a topic in the Wiki but its a whole processor family based upon on C6... & partly on ARM9 cores, so the best direction to go is the TI main web page on the family:
