Asked on forums, point #1 was clarified as meaning that manual (ie in-software) configuration of registers for nesting interrupts is valid; the comment only means that it will not be automatically managed by the hardware.

Great page, very useful.
That said, I noticed two things that could use clarification: 1) Clarify whether INTC and/or GEM support nesting of interrupts. The comment that 'nesting mode is not supported' implies that this basic functionality is simply not available in hardware. I hope it just means that you have to configure it manually. 2) Clarify that the mapping from host event to GEM input events is a hardcoded mapping found in the data sheet.
