There is conflicting information about setting up DHCP / Static IP configuration. The "TMDXEVM6678L EVM Hardware Setup" http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/TMDXEVM6678L_EVM_Hardware_Setup) indicates User switch 2 on SW9 needs to be changed - not "user switch 1"

Gautam, Thanks for the input. We updated the Getting Started Guide and the EVM Hardware Setup Guide and fixed this conflicting information.

I struggled to get my board started even though this manual is very good. There is one step that is not required (use jtag to load the application, step 1). What is most important is that, after connecting to the core, run a CPU reset and/or system reset. After this reset, we can run the gel file and load the program. The board boots. Still have an error running the gel file but this is another story.

Aymeric, that step, use JTAG to load application step 1, is required. The DIP switches along the side of the board need to be set to NO BOOT per the Hardware Setup Guide of your particular board or connecting via CCS will cause some issues. This might also be why it is necessary for you to reset (something you should not have to do).

Please make sure you are in NO BOOT and try the guide again.
