System Reset (Emulation)

From Texas Instruments Wiki
Jump to: navigation, search
  • Some JTAG Connectors and emulators (such as the XDS560 revision D) support System Reset. When connected properly to a JTAG connector which supports it, the user can reset the target card from the debugger.
  • When used with an XDS560 revision D cable pod, Code Composer Studio v4 can toggle the system reset pin on a suitable JTAG header such as the 20 pin Compact TI or 20 pin ARM connector.

  • Note, as of CCSv4, Target-->Reset-->System Reset generates the system reset via ICEpick
