Pinmux Utilities for Davinci Processors

Many of the Davinci devices use a great deal of internal pin multiplexing to allow the most functionality in the smallest and lowest cost package. The software discussed in this article allows the pin multiplexing registers of the device to be calculated with ease, as well as showing what peripherals can be used together and what devices of the Davinci family support the peripherals that are selected in some utilities. This software can be useful to anyone creating a system with a Davinci device.

DM643x Pinmux Utility[edit]

The DM643x pinmux utility is published through an application note available here.

DM644x Pinmux Utility[edit]

The DM644x pinmux utility was never originally published, however it is now posted here on this wiki site.

DM646x Pinmux Utility[edit]

The DM6467 pinmux utility is available in the product folder.

OMAP-L137 Pinmux Utility[edit]

The OMAP-L137 pinmux utility is available here with documentation here.

Note that although these utilities are tested and known to be accurate, they are provided as is and are not guaranteed to provide perfect results, please check any results against the datasheet for your device to be assured your pinmux configuration is possible and makes sense. Additionally these are for use at your own risk, there is no guarantee they are safe for your system or that they will work on your system (they are built for Windows XP and are not known to cause problems however).
