IGEPv5: OMAP5432 Platform Dual-Core ARM Cortex-A15. The first industrial ARM OMAP5 Platform on the market today.
The IGEPv5 is an industrial embedded platform. It is based on OMAP5 Dual Cortex-A15, DSP (TMS320DMC64x fixed 32-bit), IVA-HD (High Definition image and video hardware encoder/decoder accelerators), IPU (Cortex M4 Image Processing Unit, including two ARM Cortex M4 microprocessors for low-power offload and real-time responses), ABE (Audio back-end subsystem), ISS (Imaging subsystem consisting of image signal processor (ISP) and still image coprocessor (SIMCOP) block, 3D Graphics Processing Unit (GPU), including POWERVR SGX544 dual-core, 2D Graphics accelerator, Face detect module. The IGEPv5 platform supports until 4096 MB DDR3L and 8GB eMMC, 3 x 1080p60 video encoding/decoding, Ethernet controller (10/100/1000Mbps Gigabit Ethernet PHY controler (RJ45)), Debug Serial Console (RS232 (DB9)), 1 x USB3.0, 4 x USB 2.0, 1 x microHDMI (video+audio), 1 x Stereo Audio In, 1 x Stereo Audio Out, 1 x MicroSD Card Reader, 1 x JTAG, RTC, WI-FI 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, Internal Antenna WI-FI/BT, 1 x mSATA, Expansion Connectors (available signals: 1 x USB, 2 x UART, 1 x SPI, 4 x I2C, 1 x MMC, 3 x I2S/McBSP/SSI, 1 x DisplayPort, 1 x 24-bit Parallel Display Interface, 1 x Serial Display Interface, 3 x Serial Camera Interface, 1 x 16-bit parallel Camera interface, 1 x GPMC, 1 x 30 pin Audio Expansion, 1 x 30 pin Battery and Power Management interface, 1 x Keypad matrix. Supporting 1080p60 video encoding/decoding along with the built-in PowerVR SGX544-MPx GPU, the VAR-SOM-OM54 can handle the most advanced multimedia tasks. It contains: PowerVR SGX544-MPx Accelerated 2D and 3D, 512 - 2048 MB DDR3L and 8GB eMMC, 2 x USB Host and USB 3.0 OTG, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 2.1/4.0 BLE.
