NAND Device IDs supported by DM6446 and DM6437
Nand Device IDs supported for DM6446/DM355[edit]
Booting the target from NAND flash might not be successful sometimes if we use a Nand device which is other than the EVM supplied. The best method to debug this is to verify if the NAND flash used is supported by the target.
The driver file which is used to define Nand Device IDs is: <MVL Path>/lsp/ti-davinci/drivers/mtd/nand/nand_ids.c
Nand Device IDs supported for DM643x[edit]
NAND flash boot in DM643x is fully supported on Rev 1.30 of the device. For Rev 1.0 and Rev 1.20 this boot mode was supported thru secondary boot only.
NOTE: For NAND boot on DM643x, the NAND device must be connected to EMIFA CS2.
