How to Run tutorial 3A[edit]
- If required, create a target configuration for the functional simulator you wish to use
- e.g. in the New Target Configuration view:
- set the Connection to Texas Instrument Simulator
- enter C6678 in the Device field
- check "C6678 Device Functional Simulator, Little Endian
- click Save.
- In the Target Configurations list, launch the target configuration you wish to use
- e.g. right click on the .ccxml file you created above and select "Launch Selected Configuration" from the context menu
- In the Debug View:
- Load the program you created for this tutorial. It should run to main, and a System Analyzer welcome view should open up, saying that "Your system is configured to upload events while the simulator is running"
- Start System Analyzer:
- Tools -> System Analyzer -> Live
- click on the "Until data transfer is manually paused" radio button
- click Run
- In the Debug View:
- run the target by clicking on the green triangle in the Debug View toolbar
