How to Run tutorial 3A

• If required, create a target configuration for the functional simulator you wish to use
• e.g. in the New Target Configuration view:

• set the Connection to Texas Instrument Simulator
• enter C6678 in the Device field
• check "C6678 Device Functional Simulator, Little Endian
• click Save.

• In the Target Configurations list, launch the target configuration you wish to use

• e.g. right click on the .ccxml file you created above and select "Launch Selected Configuration" from the context menu

• In the Debug View:

• Load the program you created for this tutorial. It should run to main, and a System Analyzer welcome view should open up, saying that "Your system is configured to upload events while the simulator is running"

• Start System Analyzer:

• Tools -> System Analyzer -> Live
• click on the "Until data transfer is manually paused" radio button
• click Run

• In the Debug View:

• run the target by clicking on the green triangle in the Debug View toolbar
