The cell balance section of the BQ76PL536 Evaluation Board. The cell balancing is executed using external MOSFETs which are gate driven by cell balance pins on the BQ76PL536 BMS chip. When the MOSFET turns on for a given cell, the power resistor will drain current from the battery providing passive cell balancing.
