Notes[edit]

  • Running average load (window length is 8 sec) is calculated for all cores.(Running average* : Series of averages is calculated for a fixed window period of different subsets of the full data set and final average is calculate from the average series)
  • Open source software Oprofile is used to measured the A8 thread details, Oprofile thread add some additional A8 load

Performance Metrics Details[edit]

Summary[edit]

  • VENC component took the maximum Video media controller load (34 MHz), and VFPC-DEI component took the maximum load in VPSS media controller (33 MHz).
  • H.264 Frame chunking thread took the maximum load on A8 processor ( 119 MHz)
  • The encoded video quality is good without artifacts.
