EZSDK 5.02 Patches and Errata

Component patches that are present in the EZSDK

The EZSDK comes with a set of pre-applied patches to several software components. These patches have been applied to fix issues discovered during EZSDK software validation, or update the components to match EZSDK configurations of memory.

All patches can be found in <software component directory>/patches

Codec Engine	Patches for memory map, package.bld and support for sdk.mk	These patches are used to set the memory map of Codec Engine examples Unit server, fix for rebuild capability and support install into devkits.

PSP Linux (DM814x/C6A814x/AM387x)	Patches to I2C Clocking, Touchscreen and HDMI Sparkling	These patches fix running graphics/video concurrently, touchscreen orientation and an issue seen with a video sparkling artifact seen with HDMI.
OSAL	Patch support for sdk.mk	This patch adds support install into devkits.
XDAIS	Patch support for sdk.mk	This patch adds support install into devkits.
UIA	Patches increase buffer size and support for sdk.mk	These patches increase the buffer size of LoggerSM example and support install into devkits.

EZSDK 5.02.01.59 Errata

This list contains a list of issues that are present in the EZSDK release. This list includes the issues noted in the release notes and other issues reported post-release. Items notes as Errata for 5.02.00.57 have been resolved.

1. SDOCM00083579 Signal analyzer demo UI control panel is deformed(overlap of buttons) for LCD display
2. SDOCM00083468 QSG for DM814x/C6A814x/AM387x has incorrect URLs
3. SDOCM00083552 Debug messages are seen while running the messageqapp syslink example.
4. SDOCM00083510 3D demos throws the message "SGX Hardware Recovery triggered" and quality is not good(inconsistent)
5. SDOCM00083462 Before matrix GUI comes up after reboot, the old 3D graphics submenu seen for few seconds(for SD card boot)
6. SDOCM00083918 c6accel application test is failed for Math Fixed and Floating point.
7. SDOCM00083737 Syslink is re-building pre-built libraries in framework components - causing clean to delete A8 side libraries

This list contains a list of issues that are present in the EZSDK release. This list includes the issues noted in the release notes and other issues reported post-release.

Note! Some of these issues are have been resolved in EZSDK 5.02.00.57. Please refer above for existing issues.

1. SDOCM00083552 Debug messages are seen while running the messageqapp syslink example.
2. SDOCM00083468 QSG for DM814x/C6A814x/AM387x has incorrect URLs
3. SDOCM00083579 Signal analyzer demo UI control panel is deformed(overlap of buttons) for LCD display
4. SDOCM00083388 c6accel_dsplib_testapp sample application does not run
5. SDOCM00083501 VFCC: Output for capture and dump is not proper for interlaced input.
6. SDOCM00083523 Not able to decode the streams having B frames using mpeg2 decode.

8. SDOCM00083410 Teardown: After executing the VFCC->SC->VFDC oms script control is not coming to command prompt .Need to reboot the target.

10. SDOCM00083586 DSP benchmark demo fails for DM814x/C6A814x/AM387x
11. SDOCM00083387 Random crash is seen on NFS boot.

The latest EZSDK is available for download from http://software-dl.ti.com/dsps/dsps_public_sw/ezsdk/latest/index_FDS.html.

The current version is 5.05.02.00. The supported platforms are DM816x and DM814x.
