Overview

Universal Flash Programmer for Texas Instruments devices. Provides a single interface for programming Flash memory and executing Flash based operations on supported targets.

Please read the Known Issue(s) section for issues we are currently working on, and the Issues Reporting section for information on how to report issues you come across.

• 64-bit Only Windows Support (32-bit Windows is no longer supported)
• Device Support Update
  • Synced up with CCS9.0.1
  • C2000 TMS320F2838x support (See Known Issue(s) section on issues with CPU2 usage on this device)
• Added Serial Bootloader Programming support for CC13xx/CC26xx.
  • Note that CC32xx is not yet supported in the bootload UniFlash integration.
• New Image Creator release
• Added command line mass erase support for CC13xx/CC26xx
• Added Memory view short cuts for device-specific memory ranges (such as CCFG, FCFG1 for CC13xx/CC26xx)

System Requirements

CPU - supports SSE2 instruction set (ie; Intel Pentium 4 or newer, AMD Opteron/Athlon 64 or newer)

Disk Space - 600MB (2GB recommended)

Memory - 1GB (2GB recommended)

OS - Windows 7/8/10, 64-bit Linux Distribution based on CCS requirements [[1]]

Installation Instructions

Download the CCS UniFlash v5.0.0 build at the following locations:

• Windows download
• Linux download
• Mac download

(Note: there is a known issue with the Mac installer that in some cases adds an extra blank checkbox/option at the end of installation page; please ignore the option)

Known Issue(s)

N/A	The 'Settings & Utilities' tab on CPU2 for TMS320F2838x shows 'Configure Clock' and 'Program' buttons for the security features in the UniFlash GUI. These buttons should not be used on CPU2, and will not function correctly when clicked. These features should only be used on CPU1.	N/A
N/A	"Cortex_M4_0: Error occurred during flash operation: Unknown property FlashCoreSelection" error message incorrectly printed when accessing the Cortex-M core on Tenor devices. This should not affect functionality.	N/A
