Overview

Universal Flash Programmer for Texas Instruments devices. Provides a single interface for programming Flash memory and executing Flash based operations on supported targets.

What's new

The main changes in Uniflash v3.3 is to combine the v3.1 release and the v3.2 Simplelink-specific release into one package. Uniflash v3.3 also syncs-up Uniflash with the device support available in CCS6.1.

For b58 specifically, we added the following features/bug fixes:

• Gang Image Programming creation and programming support for SimpleLink WiFi devices (More Info)
• Hercules Flash Profiling support
• SDSCM00051869 - Fixed issues with Flash Programming on F28M35x devices
• SDSCM00051784 - Fixed issues with Stellaris/Tiva Debug Port Unlock and other related features
• Fixed issue with certain errors not being displayed in the UniFlash GUI
• other minor bug fixes and enhancements.

For b67 specifically, we added the following features/bug fixes:

• First Linux build that supports the SimpleLink WiFi CC3100/CC3200 devices
  • supports the same feature set as the Windows version
  • performance can be slower when compared to the Windows version (using a smaller data buffer due to limitations)

System Requirements

CPU - supports SSE2 instruction set (ie; Intel Pentium 4 or newer, AMD Opteron/Athlon 64 or newer)

Disk Space - 600MB (2GB recommended)

Memory - 1GB (2GB recommended)

OS - Windows XP/7/8, Linux Distribution based on CCS requirements here

Installation Instructions

Download the CCS UniFlash v3.3 build at the following location:

Windows Version (3.3.0.00058)	Offline version (275 MB)	Web version (20 MB)
Linux Version (3.3.0.00067/Beta)	Offline version (228 MB)	Web version (8 MB)

• Note: Internet access required during installation for Web version
