CC3100 Out of Box Application Sample Application
Overview[edit]
CC3100 BoosterPack comes preloaded with Out of Box HTML pages. Out of box demo highlights the following features:
- Simple WLAN Connection Using Smart Config
- Easy access to CC3100 Using mDNS and HTTP Server
- Complete Information about CC3100 features and specification
- Force AP Mode
In case user have erased the serial flash and require to enable the Out of Box demo, this document provided the steps to flash the demo on CC3100 Booster Pack.
Note: This demo requires the device to be in station mode. Refer function configureSimpleLinkToDefaultState in 'getting_started_with_wlan_station' example's main.c for configuring the device in 'Station-Mode'.
Setting up the demo[edit]
- Mount CC3100 Booster Pack on EMUBOOST board and connect the boards to the PC for flashing the binaries
- Flash the firmware binaries using CCS UniFlash tool.
- Flash the Out of Box pages by following below steps.
- Open '<cc3100-sdk>/examples/out_of_box/uniflash_template/oob.ucf' configuration file in Uniflash.
- Flash the files to the device. Detailed instructions at Uniflash User Guide.
