AM3335x WL18xx Wireless Connectivity Hardware installation guide

Board Bringup[edit]

After opening the box, verify its contents (including an SD card, etc.). Then proceed with the hardware assembly steps described below.

WL18xx COM (Connectivity On a Module) installation[edit]

Please make sure the WL18xx COM8 module is installed in the COM connector located on the base board next to the SD card slot as shown in the picture below.

Note: This module needs an external antenna which should be connected as shown in the picture.
