AM1810 Frequency Settings For Profibus

PROFIBUS Frequency Settings

AM1810 device can be configured in two ways to enable PROFIBUS. The frequencies must be set up to enable correct oversampling rate to support 12Mbaud/s on the PROFIBUS UART as well as meet the requirements for DDR memory interface. The frequency settings are listed below.

In these two modes, the operating frequencies for major peripherals are as listed in following table.

ARM	375 MHz
DDR2	156 MHz
mDDR	150 MHz

 

Power-on Hours for AM1810

Depending upon the configured frequency, the expectation of power-on hours changes. The Power-on Hours at 105°C and 1.2V are: 

 

ARM Frequency	POH Rating
375 MHz	75 K hours
340 MHz or slower	100 K hours

The AM1810 device datasheet lists these power on hours in Table 4-1 in section 4.3.
