This page explains hardware and software for getting started with CC256x + Bluetopia.

Hardware Setup[edit]

Please make sure you are not missing the first three step from the link if you are using a different Host processors.

NOTE: This is just a draft, to see if this is what is expected.

You can follow the Hardware Porting Guide provided as part of the V1.4 R1 SDK documentation folder for porting to any other Host processer


Flash Emulation Tool (FET) Overview[edit]

For downloading the sample demo to the EVM, you require MSP430 USB Debugging Interface. This needs to be purchased separately.

NOTE: This is not required if you are using EZ430-RF256x. But jut keep in mind that is is Not Recommended for New Designs

You need to connect the FET USB Debugging Interface to JTAG debugging port(J2) and you need to connect the USB of FET USB Debugging Interface to the PC.
